Nice unit. Durable, Works well in the application intended. However, when making cassette copies from Deck A to Deck B there is a record level imbalance between channel Left and channel Right. Channel Left appears to be OK while channel Right is 3 dB lower in level during playback of the copied tape. Levels appear OK on tapes recorded from the rear external input jacks. Discrete, continuous level tones were used for these tests. Dub copies were made of previously recorded tapes made on a different machine that proved to be accurate in level balance. Not having a circuit schematic makes it difficult to determine if there are discrete level adjustments for that function.

Since tape decks are a dying breed and hard to come by, this unit does just fine. Some would complain it doesn't have a headphone jack but if it's hooked up to a receiver/amp, you don't need one. The only usefull feature missing is a "pause" button. But I'll get by without one.
