No, I would not recommend this to a friend

After having this center for almost 2 years and constantly trying to make it sound better, I have come to the conclusion that you just can't make 3and a half inch drivers sound good at all. The so called CMMD is just bad. I am so dissapointed because I have a pair of 20 yr. old RS Kappa 6 speakers that sound so much better than anything Infinity makes now. What happened Infinity. Go back to making real speakers PLEASE!
