The S-81 is a new high-end stereo personal component system designed to provide exceptional performance with smooth styling to please the eye. The powerful amplifiers deliver clean distinct sound with their non-feedback design. The CD player uses new Burr Brown 24bit/192kHz DACs to provide exceptional detailed sound from various sources such as CDs, MP3 or WMA 9 encoded discs. In addition, the S-81 provides iPod connectivity and control with either a Denon iPod cable or Denon's iDock.

An AM/FM radio is a given. It's also XM satellite radio ready, provided you subscribe to XM service and get an optional XM home antenna. Got an iPod player? You're in for a real surprise. You can control, play, and listen to your iPod through the Denon S81 and experience a new plateau in audio performance. Simply dock your iPod on with the optional Denon ASD1R dock - which will also charge your iPod. A dock connector cable is included with the S81.
