No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Purchased unit to replace a 5 disc CD player. It's used primarily for music CD's. Can't fault it's audio or video reproduction, but it's mechanically "clunky". Loading discs from the tray is literally a noisy process, and slow. Standard operation is playing one disc, and stopping rather than continuing play through all discs loaded. "Repeat" operation is possible, but requires use of the video display. A dedicated button on the panel and/or remote would be a useful addition.
