Pioneer PDP-5010FD

Since purchasing the Pioneer Kuro PDP-5010FD, there's no regret. Absolutely one of the best pictures around. Deep contrast, incredible blacks, and the 1080P resolution, make this TV look better everyday. [...] I looked at TV's day-in day-out and kept noticing some great TV's but each one had a little glitch or problem. Don't get me wrong, there are some great HDTVs out there from Sony, Samsung, and Panasonic, but the Pioneer line blows them out of the water. I no longer search for and look at defects on the screen... just enjoying this plasma because it's just perfect, to my eye. The ease of operation (even my fiance can figure it out) is great. I haven't made the switch to BlueRay yet, but the TV upconverts my standard DVD collection to astonishing quality. DirecTV and cable HD channels are stunning. It even does a great job when hooked up to my Wii and PS2.Bottom line... don't hesitate any longer. I'd buy this TV all over again. Got a great deal here at Onecall.com too. J[...]

I checked out a lot of sets. LCD and Plasma. This Pioneer by far surpasses anything out there.

I did a ton of research before I got this TV and it’s paid off in spades. The picture is crisp, smooth and bright. I use HDMI from a tuner which in turn has HDMI from the DVD and HDDVR and it works like a champ. The 3D mode on it really does work and makes the movies and shows look like they have more depth then normal TV settings. Every time I watch a show in HD or a movie, it’s a great experience. It works well with the interface from the computer from the DVR and USB port and just watching your digital pictures on a 50in TV is a real experience. I could go on and on but will just leave it at, it is clearly as advertized.
