2 minor quibles, but lots of value!

I think that the things I don't like about this player are things that might be inherent in the Blu-Ray format. The two things I liked most about my previous non-Blu-Ray player are the subtitle and audio buttons on the remote so I didn't have to go back to the menu to change from the commentary to the soundtrack or turn on the subtitles periodically to understand the dialogue. I miss these functions. The other thing that would have been nice is if the machine remembered the spot I was in the disc so when I turn it back on I don't have to search to find where I was. Other than those minor quibbles, this is absolutely a great player for the price. You really can't go wrong with this one to enter the world of Blu-Ray home theater. Sound, picture, and price are all outstanding.
