I use this receiver as a pre/pro (7.2 system)--I have Denon's more expensive pre/pro in my home theatre and performance is very similiar (excellent). Problem is that the scaler/gui software is a little unstable so be prepared to do a hard-boot once in a while (i.e unplug for about a minute). I still highly recommend the product.

Great receiver. Had to send back the first unit as the HD radio was dead-on-arrival. OneCall sent me back a replacement and the new unit had no issues with the HD radio. Highly configurable to meet any project need. The integrated Realta video processor is itself worth $2,000 so this is a great buy.

I couldnt be more pleased with the purchase of this AVR. For years I have been using Denon products and always have been amazed by the quailty of their products. The amount of control you can exercise over this reciever is amazing, provided you want to view an amazing menu of choices. I am sure it will take awhile to fully comprehend all the abilities and enjoy the experience. Last by not least, as always OneCall made my purchase easy and with no troubles. I will be back for more.

This unit replaced a Sony Amp and Preamp. It is a beautiful unit but extremely difficult to set up. It would have been better to invest in plug n play technology and allow the consumer to make slight adjustments for tweaking.
