Good picture. Too dark when using the intel-sensor. Sound is okay, but expected it to be better considering this one has a hidden speaker system. We preferred to hook it up to a home theater system to improve the sound quality which doesn't carry very well through the room. Surprisingly, the sound on our smaller 32" Sharp Aquas was actually much better when viewing HD channels. The picture, though, is very good and you can see small details normally not seen on our other sets. So, still a good buy. No mechanical problems yet.

They said that the remote control was bad. Who cares! They also said that the Manual was bad. Who cares! One must look at the quality of the picture. Excellent TV. I own a Sony XBR 1 and a Pioneer Kuro. Believe me when I say that the LG 37" is a very good TV. Big deal if it doesn't have a jack phone. John Delys

Great tv for the price point. I was considering a Samsung, but for the same price i got this LG, which was larger than the Samsung and 1080i at around the same price. the picture quality is great. I am very happy with it.
