I use this product to play games, movies (blu-ray and streamed from Netflix). Great picture! I love the thin size. No cons that I can find!

I never thought that television and movies could look so good in my home. I was amazed at the size, weight, and ease of use. I was able to mount this thing in 30 minutes, by myself, and having never mounted a television before. The sound is not good, but it has to be expected with a TV this thin and I was able to add my own surround system into the mix so nothing was missed. I use this product for everything from gaming, movies, music and streaming. I have recommended this product to friends and a few of my friends were so impressed that they bought one for themselves. Buy this TV immediately. It will make you regret not doing it before.

Where to begin? Well, After visiting this TV in the showroom along side of many others, it was the hands down winner in terms of picture performance and features. One Call is where the price became a winner, too.[...] The TV arrived in pristine condition, and was displaying content within an hour. As I was in the middle of remodeling the home theater room in which this TV was going to sit, I put it aside for a few weeks.Upon final installation in the darkened media room, the TV lost much of its luster, literally as well as figuratively. A quick Google search will direct the careful buyer, unlike myself, to many discussions regarding this edge-lit TV's flaws. The first and foremost being "flashlighting", then "clouding", then finally, "auto-dimming".These flaws are readily apparent during the display of dark content in a dark room. The corners are either lighted or darkened to the opposite of the display material. White blotches infect the screen during dark scenes, and the introduction of some light object surrounded by a dark background causes the TV to dim then brighten, almost flickering as the content moves across the screen. This TV would be the perfect option for a bright room watching cartoons or TV sports. Its bright picture and vibrant display are well suited for that environment. A Plasma TV, this is not. Don't make the mistake I did in assuming it could be successfully used in a home theater environment.Its decoding and picture capability are rather average for a TV and below average for a TV in this price range. It fails many of the tests on the Spears and amp; Munsil Blu-Ray Test Disc. On the plus side, the TV has a number of connectivity options and handles most of them well. One notable exception, and a particularly disappointing one as this is one of the features that sold me, is its poor performance with DLNA streaming. It plays content from USB storage just fine, but streaming from a Windows Media Center computer barely works. Forget about fast forward or rewind, and Heaven help you if the connection gets dropped, as you'll need to restart at the beginning.All-in-all, this TV isn't bad, and has its place, but the design flaws of edge-lit LED lighting and its poor handling of DLNA streaming keep this TV from being a winner.

Great looking unit, plan on hanging above the fireplace and the 1.2 inch thickness is perfect for that option. Rear firing speakers will be a problem, but I have already planned to add an A/V setup so that will override this issue. Overall I am very satisfied with this purchase.
