      My computers all run Mint Linux, do you know if anyone using your D1 DAC is doing so in a Linux computer using FLAC audio files ?

        Yes this will work fine with Linux and FLAC audio files. In fact the manufacturer uses a lot of Linux systems in the R&D department.
