Description
The Bellari HA540 is a audiophile grade headphone amplifier. The all class A signal path ensures smooth clean analog audio. The 0 feedback design means smooth natural analog response. It features 2 input paths and high gain for MP3 players, ipod, etc and a low gain path from audio selectors, mixers, satellite receivers, etc.. It also features direct into the tube grid coupling for no loss or distortion. The unit is included with a universal powersupply for use most anywhere in the world.

With proper time for everything to burn in this gave me wonderful sound quality. This amp will enhance the sound of any setup and is worth the money. This brought out the finest details and made every sound fuller, warmer, and more pronounced. When compared to an ipod or computer, this is a no-brainer in terms of high quality audio. However, i would highly recommend replacing the tube. The stock one sounds fine, but getting something like a tung-sol or mullard reissue tube. However, any NOS tube will even further increase sound stage and detail. But for the amp itself it is everything i was looking for and much more.

    This is a great sounding headphone amp. The low level input provides superb gain. I would have like a wallwart power supply with a bit thicker cord though. Give the tube about 20 minutes after turn on to reach best sound. Definitely sounds great with my Denon AH-D2000 headphones!

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

      Could you tell me if the height of 2.5 inches of this unit includes the top of the vacuum tube, if not what would the total height be, the Bellari would be mounted on one of my lower shelves on my component rack, does it give off a fair amount of heat and about how many inches of clearance would I need for venting, would about three and half inches in height be sufficient, thank you.

        The top height for the Bellari HA 540 is the a total of 3 inches from the base of the unit to the very top of the screw heads. Hopefully that will fit within the shelf requirement that you have. If you have any further questions please call us at 800.340.4770.
