Works well with home theatre, but as most 12" subs, a 10" works better for Music.

I was considering the Klipsch Sub12 and others, before i spotted this Boston Sub. It surpassed my expectations and I'm very happy with this purchase. I would highly recommend Boston Sub's for home Theater use [...].

I recently purchased this sub because I thought my old MK MX200 sub was dying. When I hooked the HPS 12HO up, I was struck by it's power while watching movies (tested it with Iron Man and Hulk)and it's timing and smoothness with music. The styling is great! I later realized that my MK Sub was actually alive and well (a long story) so I am now using both in my rec rm set-up and the combo is amazing for movies. The subs are used only for movies, I have a separate system for music in my rec room and and dedicated home theater room in the basement. BTW, did I say the styling is great!
