SCARLET - The Hot New Series of TVs When it comes to performance, few brands rival LG. And when it comes to elegance, no HDTV competes with the LG60. It has a wraparound design and enough power to rival any screen in its class.

About Me Power User
I did 2.5 weeks of research which included reading up on all the tech jargon and buying tips. Also went to LG, Sony, Philips and and Panasonic dealerships to compare (side-by-side). In its size range I found the LG to have the best specs in all areas. The refresh rate is higher than almost all its competition including the X series from Sony. The picture quality is brilliant in analog (cable viewing), standard DVD over A/V input, standard DVD over HDMI, Blu-ray over HDMI. I even plugged my Macbook to the TV via DVI-HDMI cable and got brilliant results. The TV is configurable in almost all details. SOmething which is not a feature in the Sony, Philips and Panasonics. It also looks much better than all its competition. I love the USB interface which picks up Divx, MP3, JPG etc. Also like the wide variety of connection options available. The sound is also very good.

About Me Tech Savvy
Looks beautiful in my living room. Picture is gorgeous and easily adjusted to personal preferences. Only con is that it does not auto recognize when I switch from TV to DVD to PC or whatever. Otherwise, wonderful.
