About Me Enthusiast
Comments about Mitsubishi LT-46151 46-inch Unisen(TM) 120Hz 1080p LCD HDTV:
Brought this Mitsubishi 46151 TV in Dec. 2009. Just last month the sound system suddenly doesn't work any more. The one year warranty just expired so I have to pay someone to fix the problem. Extremely disappointed. For all the reasons I choose this TV was because its surround sound system build in with the TV and now it failed on me! One other annoying thing is when switching channels, it will take more than 3 seconds to display the channel. So if you are the person like to flip channels, then definitely don't buy Mitsubishi.

Great Tv
By Murr S
from Torrington,CT
Replaced a four year old 37" Westinghouse HD Monitor. Better in all way except miss PIP. Four HDMI connections are great. Picture and sound are great. Surround south with Dolby input and subwoofer is almost as good as separate receiver and speakers. Pacific on HBO was nothing short of amazing.
Much more glare than I expected
By Beckie the latest tech fan
from Stanwood, MI
I have been VERY disappointed in the glare on this TV. It is much more that I expected from a LCD TV and as bad as my old tube TV only it has the glare over a much larger area. We have a sub woofer connected to the TV so I am quite pleased with the sound quality although the sound from its speakers are not good enough to be able to eliminate speakers in the rear. Picture quality is excellent for high def inputs but sometimes are less than great on some standard def signals. Because of our size constraints, the thin frame allowed us to go up in size from a 42 inch TV to this 46 inch one so we found this to be a real plus. One other big plus for me is that this TV recieves high def TV channels and digital music channels without the expense of paying the cable company for their digital box or high def box or having to have that extra piece of equipment or cables in the stack of componets. Overall I hate the glare, love the high def picture quality, love getting the extra signals w/o cable equipment, and am quite positive on the sound quality. Would recommend it to a friend if they had a situation where the lighting was controlled enough so they would not have the glare issues.

Terrible Screen Glare.
By Pizzaman
from So Cal
Previous Mitsubishi matte screen models worked well in light environments, but were plagued with lines appearing on the sides of the screens. The slim frames required tiny speakers that sounded terrible. The new models have a sound bar which improved the sound (not as much as I would have expected), but the new glossy screens are virtually unusable if there is any lighting or windows in your viewing room.
