Comments about Terk PI-B Indoor Amplified AM/FM Antenna:
This amplified antenna is only slightly better than an older non-amplified antenna I have. It will clean up some local FM stations but it will not pull in any additional stations even if they are only 35-50 miles away and can be received on a cheap wire antenna. It has a small base and placement issues. The wiring connection requires that the unit be placed facing away from the room if placed behind your equipment. The issue or (non-issue) is that one cannot see the obnoxious bright blue power light or unfold the AM antenna in this direction. I'm always fighting the cords. My only option was to either place it in front of or on top of my receiver which hurts reception and looks bad.
