Velodyne now brings the power and precision of Digital Signal Processing (DSP) to a new series of very affordable, high-performance, remote-controlled subwoofers. The DLS-5000R subwoofer features four presets on its remote control for movies, rock music, jazz/classical and games, allowing you to select the perfect bass without ever leaving your chair. All the adjustments of these subwoofers can be made using the remote including volume control, night mode, low-pass crossover and phase. The DLS-R Series deliver bass the way it was meant to be heard - loud and deep with incredible impact and lower distortion.
DSP-CONTROLLED
DSP subwoofer control has never been available before at such affordable prices. DSPs are embedded computer chips that control all audio functions of the subwoofer with digital accuracy. Presets for customized listening, volume control, night mode, low-pass crossover, phase, anti-clipping and overdrive protection are all controlled with the precision of a high-speed computer. DSP technology means that the DLS-R subwoofers deliver the cleanest, deepest, and highest output bass possible, while maintaining a fl at, detailed and accurate frequency response.
CONVENIENT REMOTE CONTROL
Included with your DLS-R subwoofer is a full-featured remote control. This remote lets you control all the sub`s functions from the comfort of your favorite chair.
Presets: Choose between four presets — Movies, R&B
Rock, Jazz - Classical or Games. Whether you`re looking for the driving bass in rock music, the excitement of hard hitting bass for games, maximum output and impact for movie special effects, or the purely accurate bass reproduction demanded by jazz and classical material, DLS-R subwoofers can be instantly customized for any performance or program material.
Night Mode: This "polite" feature limits the maximum output of the subwoofer for late night listening, or to be considerate of close neighbors.
Volume Control: Lets you balance the subwoofer`s output with the main speakers in your system.
Light Control: Lets you illuminate or turn off the front panel light.
Phase Adjustment: Ensures a seamless interface and timbre match with your main speakers.
Mute: Mutes and unmutes the subwoofer.
