    I have had several different digital cameras over the years but never had one with 4 AA batteries. I used the camera for about 30 shots at Christmas, used the LCD viewer to view them and about 24 hours later the batteries were dead. I spoke to a person at a camera shop and she explained that AA batteries are drained quickly by using the flash and viewing pics on the LCD screen. I'm returning the camera tomorrow. I don't want to carry a bunch of AA batteries around. (and I did purchase the lithium AA batteries). Also I had to buy my own memory disc[...]

    I bought this camera mainly for travel and it turned out to be great. The batteries last long, though they also make the camera more heavy. And the whole bunch of settings can cover almost all what I need, especially the museum setting, which helped me took a lot of great pics. when visiting museums~!

    Takes great sunset pics, but tends to go to a lower rsolution in low light, maing pics somewhat grainy. The zoom in magnificen, and is a godsend, especially outside during the day. I liek that it is read to take pictures when it is turned on, not a long lag time like some others.

    It LOOKS like alot of the digital SLRs, but be aware that it is NOT. There are NO manual fuctions or focusing. For a point and shoot, its great!
