I've wanted this camera for a couple of years and finally got it for my birthday this year. I'm still trying new things with it, but so far it has met, if not exceeded, all my expectations. I've taken sunset, sunrise, sports, stills and wildlife photos so far. It's a lot of fun and by far the best camera I've ever owned. I haven't tried the video function out yet, but it should work fine for my applications.

I tried this camera at a Wedding banquet. I was
disappointed that the pictures did not come out
as I expected. This is my first time that I am using it at a banquet, so I am still in learning
process. For beginners, use the Scene Selector
mode so that you do not have to worry about day and night settings for the camera. I am sure that
I will be happy after I learned how to use this camera, but not at this time.

For the price, it's a good deal. My husband has a Nikon 5000, and I can take pics. like his now. Image quality is great, and the best part is; I don't have to carry along extra lenses, flash, ect. Just remove the lense cap, turn it on, point 'n shoot! Fits right in my purse. Also, the battery life is exceptional. Overall, I give it 5 stars.

Great camera. Purchased for use in the field, as I am a state certified Master Naturalist. I just wish I had waited until the week before Thanksgiving, as another retailer dropped the price to $229 for Black Friday week, which is way under what I paid. One Call's price was good, but dang, wish I had waited.

This camera is fast enough to take good pix of my fast-moving boys. The macro feature works great -- I can EASILY take really nice close-ups of small items like bugs, beads and jewelry, with just 2 extra clicks. I don't have to dig into the menu options or be a power user to take good pictures with this camera.

Nice camera, impressive zoom, but.. stopped working on the second day. The camera did not come up. After some automatic "lens stretching", it stopped working asking to remove the lens cap that was already removed. Fortunately, OneCall replaced the camera by a new one without any hassle. Let's see how the new one works.

for a all in one camera, it works well for me. my main camera is a Sony DSLR with interchangable lenses, and it is not always convenient to take the camera bag with equipment. The Nikon P90 has a great zoom (24x) and is easy to operate. I previously owned a Canon SX 10 IS, and had researched an Olympus Stylis and Pentax equivalent of the P90 before purchasing it.

A bit too small/light for my hands and the viewfinder is considerably smaller than the Nixon 5700 it replaced. The pictures are awesome and I really like the no flash unless you want it (it rarely needs it). Excellent ease of use, super fast shutter/recovery speed, awesome 12.1 megapixels and a great value. I would recommend this camera for the intermediate user.
