I use the TV in my bedroom. This is an average TV and I think is good value for the money. Non HD however is not so great and the sound is real flat.

This TV has outstanding picture quality. I compared the 550 and 650 side-by-side and the 650's picture was considerably better. The InfoLink feature is cool (I've used it more than I would have guessed). I've had a Samsung DLP for several years and have been very satisfied (even had to use their service once).
OneCall was very helpful as I kicked the tires, particularly explaining warranty and return policies.

I hoping our 10+ year old 32" JVS wouldn last until we move nest year, dang glad it did. The clarity of picture and smooth look are exceptional. Went with Samsung after see a Consumer Report on flat screen TVs and looking at them in a retail store. I made a mistake while setting the TV up but Samsung support was very knowledgable and stepped me through the fix over the phone quickly.

I was worried about making such an expensive purchase on line, but it was worth it. The TV showed up within 5 days. I took it out of the box hooked up the power cord and was amazed at the picture quality. We watched Finding Nemo the first night and the color was unbelievable. I have had no problems and would definitely recommend the TV to anyone. I don't have HD TV yet, but not sure I will purchase it. The clarity is amazing.

Part of a family room / surround sound setup. Beautiful picture, but a bit complicated to use. As a stand-alone it is excellent, but the single use remote furnished requires multiple remotes and/or multiple user inputs to access all features of the unit.

Purchased TV through recommendations and reviews. Was not disappointed. Great price, picture quality was above average and set-up was a breeze. Overall I would highly recommend this model. TV was wall mounted with cable box in closet. I used an IR repeater (Niles) the only one that worked flawlessly.

I use this for my living room and it works great. I mostly watch movies and play games on it. I liked it so much that I bought one for my parents to have. The only problem I could see is if you have it in a bright room then be prepared for some glare. Other then that, it's a great TV for a great price.

I have compared several top brands at Best Buy, etc. and Samsung clearly has the best picture. It would be nice if it had a more automatic 4:3/16:9 sensor so that you never had to find the remote to change the format every time you changed channels on the cable box.

The only thing I was worried about with this TV was that the screen was going to be too reflective. As it turns out, the screen if fine - much better than my old CRT, and the picture quality is absolutely brilliant! Tons of connectivity options too! I still have to learn most of the options. The fast refresh rate was really apparent while watching the Olympics. Its a lot better than my older LCD. The picture quality is outstanding.

TV displays best ever picture I've ever seen. I looked at all models offered at Best Buy and Sound Advice (Tweeter) and decided over Sony, LG and Sharp Aquos. This model is tops by far, specially on 1080p Blu-Ray is amazing!
