Everything is great about the tv. We wall mounted it above a fireplace mantel and the sound bounced off the mantel so we installed surround sound. Much better after that. That is the only thing that is a con.

I use this product with Blu-ray and the picture is very good. Even regular DVDs look better on it. Video games from PS2 era also get a nice bump in clarity that makes them shine again.

The only downside I encountered was that you need two people to lift it into position, in my case unto a TV stand.

I am looking forward to HD TV shows and the like on the product.

Since this unit is near perfect, it's much easier to list the few things that I found wrong with it. So I'll start with those:+ Poor Sound Quality: I have a 40" Samsung LCD as well, which has much better sound than this unit. The sound is very flat and shallow. Missing the rich full sound that the older Samsung offers.+ PIP: I've found the PIP only works with two sources and one of them has to be the TV coaxial input. Which is fine if you are using an antenna. However, I can't split the screen between our satellite signal (hdmi) and our Playstation 2 (component). + S-Video: This is very minor, but the only S-Video input is on the side of the TV. This is great for quick hook-ups, like a camcorder. But for long term hook-ups, I would not want the wires showing out of the side. Highlights - I'll list a few, but overall I'm very pleased:+ Picture: Simply Perfect. With a little tweaking, the image is amazing. Great viewing angle as well.+ Remote: Nice and simple to use and I love the 'light' button to see the keys in the dark.+ Appearance: The gloss black is very elegant. It's also simple enough that it looks very classy.[...]

There are no visible speakers on the front, so it looks very clean and nice. They are on the bottom, like an iMac, but deliver very good sound. Also, it comes with built-in swivel stand.

Though it has 5ms response time, for extremely fast action shots, picture is slow to move for short snaps if you look very attentively.

With the signal switching over to digital, I thought it was the best time to buy a new hdtv. I decided to go for the Samsung LN46A550 after reading several reviews praising it. So far the tv has not disappointed me. It is brighter and more clear than our old tv, it isn't affected by glare, and viewing angle is not a problem at all. It has several inputs (3 HDMI, two components, s-video and vga, etc) and controls. All in all, the tv was an excellent choice. I have not found a reason to complain about the tv.

Very sharp, clear picture. No glare. Fantastic display for digital photos, either from your computer (through a VGA cable to the tv) or from a memory stick / thumb drive (which you insert at the side of the tv). Beautiful picture from a blu-ray DVD. The built-in speakers are adequate for basic tv viewing but if you're watching a movie or a music event, you will want to use external speakers. In conclusion, unless you're a real videophile and require perfection, I can't see why you would need to spend a lot more on a more expensive tv. Be sure to use HMDI cables between the tv and your digital tv box and DVD / blu-ray players for the best picture quality.

I bought this tv from onecall and got this item shipped in great condition within a week. This tv is remarkable with the picture quality and It just made my living room so rich.

The only complaint with this is the sound quality. Anyway I am thinking of buying a home theater.

I really like this TV. However, the only draw back is that the built in speakers are terribad, so if you buy this tv, expect to pay several hundred more dollars for speakers, unless you don't care, but I imagine if you are spending $1.5k on a TV you do.

Great TV. Best features. Yes, it does not have 120Hz but I saw it turned on in the showrooms and it did not appeal to me. It made the picture look unreal, so I am happy without it. The falling price of the TV is probably my sore point.. but hey, no one can help it anyways, right?

I expected this tv to me great for everything except sports, bc it has lower hertz and whatnot. It's only the entry level model after all. But it turns out that the olympic looked fantastic. This thing is the beat deal ever. Thx one call. Also, this is easy enough to lift for one strong person, so setup is easy

This TV is great! The internal speakers leave a bit to be desired, but if you have surround-sound, it's not a problem. The anti-glare screen is awesome. We have windows on just about every wall, so glare was a real problem. Not with this TV though.[...]We love this TV and, if we had to do it over again, we wouldn't change a thing. My mom is in the market to get a flat-panel TV now, and I've recommended she get the same one I did, just a little smaller. I took her into [...] to show her all of the options.
