LCD screens have now surpassed plasma screens in nearly all aspects of their development. The Samsung A750-950 screens exceed even the highest rated Sony units for vivid colors and detailed images that show no motion or blocking artifacts. By controlling back lighting, the resulting 3D effect is amazing and can nearly cause motion sickness until you get used to it. The effect has none of the artificial look and color distortion found in so called 3D movies.Setup is simple and requires little adjustment beyond the factory presets. The unit is best suited for use with a home theater sound system since its built in 4 speaker system is barely acceptable for general TV viewing let alone surround sound. Nuisance factors: the 'mute' icon remains onscreen and the floating input selector makes programming 'macros' difficult. [...] the Samsung A750 is the best of the best!

The remote must be aimed directly at the lower right corner or it doesn't respond, it is really annoying! The clock doesn't auto set unless you have digital cable. The PiP doesn't work unless you have both digital and analog inputs, so it doesn't work. Seems to me they should have resolved these issues.

I shopped around for a least a month and found this TV offered the most features and the quality was second to none. I currently own a Sony that is smaller (42") and is two years old. It can't hold a candle to the picture quality. The old TV is up stairs and the new one down. I've spent more time downs stairs in the past several weeks than I had in a entire year. The older kids don't like it! Who knows, may be we will move it up stairs and they can have the old set. Something tells me they would eventually end up stairs too!

Everything we expected it to be. The colors are vibrant and clear. It is awesome with our DVDs and movies are great. We like to have it full screen so you see everything. You can see it clearly from any angle.

This Samsung is the most outstanding TV I've ever viewed, next to none. Other than the great game yesterday, it was the hit of the Super Bowl party at my home. Colors, resolution, sound, and ease of use...absolutely awesome. The unit is all the research indicated when I was judging different models and options - I'm an engineer so I likely spent more time performing analyses then I needed to. I bantered with my wife for the last three months regarding a flat screen purchase for the home theatre to replace an old rear projection unit, but now in a telephone call to our daughter back in Colorado this morning, she's taking credit for selecting it - who'd believe a television could change her mind so radically after 42 years of knowing each other. Anyway, if you're serious about purchasing a unit of this size, you need not look any further although I did - needlessly, again and again - when I should have been already enjoying it during the regular NFL season.

This is my first HDTV, having made my old 26" CRT last as long as possible until my ideal television came down in price. It finally did and the Samsung is it!

This is one incredible television: 1080p resolution, incredibly bright and sharp, with plenty of connections. I had no problem connecting a DVD player, Wii console, Roku (Netflix box), and a laptop computer.

The remote is easy to use and well laid out. I had read about other's dissatisfaction with the remote's unique wheel control, but as I found out you can either spin the wheel or click on the desired side a couple of times to accomplish the same thing. Yes there's some delay but it's tolerable.

I would highly recommend this product (and OneCall) to anyone. In fact, my best friend is now seriously considering one for his home.

We initiated the television with a Lord of the Rings marathon. Unfortunately, it wasn't until the third movie that I realized I needed to set the output of the DVD player to 16:9. Once I did this, we got a better image and it filled the full screen. Upscaling of the DVD player's component output by the television appears to be very good, though I couldn't say whether the upscaling is done by the DVD player or the television.

Just plug something HD into it, turn the auto motion plus to high and get blown away. You wont find it cheaper than Onecall either. I am very pleased with my purchase. Gaming is also amazing. Don't know how it lived without it.

So far I did not have any major problems with the TV. It has a lot of interesting features and it's pretty easy to use. I didn't even use the guide to set it up. The color and the sound are great, trust me when I say that you do not need any additional speakers connected to your TV unless you can't live without them. Unfortunately, there is one thing that bothers me; I was able to set the TV to 1080p but there is no 1080p option in my cable box and my HDMI cable doesn't work very well when it is connected to the box. So I decided to connect the HDMI between the TV and DVD and set both to 1080p, it worked. Don't get upset if your TV doesn't work properly just set the cable box to a different resolution such as 720p or 1080i.

I have this TV mounted in my home living room. The picture is beautiful and extremely smooth with BlueRay & XBOX360. The newer 8 series model is thinner but the 7 series is right for the price! I like the options available in the video & audio settings. The controller has a poorly designed 'spinner' for scrolling through menu items and it operates poorly; wouldn't matter as universal remotes these days are readily available. Happy with my purchase!!!

If you are thinking about the sales and the lower cost TV's go take a look at this Samsung at you local store to see the difference. They all say 1080P and do great but when you look at most of those you see the little boxes on the screen or not fluid movement. Get this one with the 50,000 - 1 Contrast and the 120 engine and you will be proud.

Overall this is a great TV. I had a 52 Sony XBR 5 TV for a few weeks and it was stolen. I decided to replace it with the Samsung LN52A750. Both TVs are great, and have an amazing picture. My PS3 looks amazing and I get complaints about the picture looking too real. The Samsung was about $800 cheaper so its for sure a better buy. Also, One Call is a great place to order from[...] Way better than [...] that I went to.

First of all - this TV rocks. The TV is simply beautiful to look at. When you turn it on and watch high definition material, it just truly shows off. The color accuracy is right on target. I found the optimal settings (yes, they are spot on) at a website that reviews TV's so setup took me all of five minutes. The TV arrived via ABF Freight on not only the day scheduled but about two hours early. An awesome product by Samsung and great service from Onecall. I will be ordering again as needed.

Product arrived in excellent condition.[...] Let me say this first: This TV is awesome! The picture quality is flawless, as others have mentioned. BUT, my unit had cosmetic defects. The Touch of Color bezel around the TV had areas of missing 'paint'. It looked like long scratches, but when you look close up, this defect was within the bezel itself (like an air bubble suspended inside a piece of glass). I had to play CSR roulette with Samsung directly & my issue still isn't resolved. My first 2 phone calls to Samsung resulted in "Sorry, scratches are not covered under warranty". My third attempt, I got someone who agreed it "could" be a factory defect so he arranged for an authorized service tech to come out & look at it. He took one look & said, "Yup, it's a defect". So now he wants me to call Samsung back & ask them what they want to do: Have Samsung replace the entire TV or have the tech order a new bezel, then take the TV to the shop, take it apart, replace the bezel, & bring it back. The tech actually said it would be more cost effective for Samsung to exchange the TV instead of paying him to fix it. I am still trying to get an answer on this from Samsung. More CSR roulette. I call back, explain the whole story, she transfers me to warranty & I get a recording that the number has been disconnected. I call back again, explain the whole story, get transferred to warranty & I am immediately put on hold. I had to hang up after 48 minutes. Will try again on Monday. OneCall really needs to rethink its return policy. I have learned something from this.

This is a gorgeous LCD TV. It advertises PIP and it does have one. The PIP it offers is very hard to use to switch back and forth to the result it is really not useful at all.
