We were happy to learn that the set works well even in a room that has lots of natural light.

Owned mine for over a year now and have yet to find a newer version that is able to knock it off it's pedestal when it comes to true HD picture quality.

This is a great TV. My friend bought one and recommended it to me. I bought it and am very happy with it. The menu is intuitive, and set up is a breeze. The picture is fantastic.
I did notice what some people have complained about, namely, that the movies appear like home-made movies; to me, that was not a minus. It is simply the TV being ultra-clear and people need to get used to it.

This is by far the nicest TV that I've ever owned!! The picture is incredible, and I'm very pleased with my choice. You can fine tune everything to get the picture just the way you like it.
The lack of PIP button on the remote is a little annoying, but not a deal-breaker. You need to drill down a couple of menu levels to control it, but it works and looks great.
Watch out for MyPrice, it will preclude you from receiving any other "offers" that may be available....

Great picture. Great price. Knew what I was getting up front picture-wise. However the lack of a booklet to read through as your watching the television is a bone headed decision. You have to put in the computer stick, stop whatever you're watching and endlessly scroll through the online manual to find out how to do whatever it is you're trying to do. Ugh. Also there are no S-Video connections. I still have a Super VHS machine that I still use, and am forced to use the composite cable instead of the superior S-Video output. Also have an older dvd machine that I had to swap out because it didn't have component outputs. Samsung doesn't seem to understand that people may have older equipment that they still use.
