I bought this for the picture size and quality at a competive price for a plasma and it was a good buy. I am dissappointed with the speaker qualaity as I had a bit higher expectations. The sound is not acceptable on a stand alone basis - count on using your audio system speakers.[...]

This TV has a wonderful picture. I think when you compare price/quality, you can't do any better than this! My only words of wisdom would be: 1. Find a good calibration (I found one on AVS Forum) and 2. Make sure you will be using a secondary audio source (the speakers on this TV are poor at best, but I assume most people will be using this in a home theater set up)

This was the first time I purchased a TV online. Very nervous but I would do it again. I was going to purchase the TV from a local retailer but I didn't have to pay for shipping or Tax. I saved a few hundred dollars!!!!

I looked at many reviews on this product and most said how the TV appeared very dark. Yet when you go to showrooms, all Calibrated TV's are set to a darker setting. This gives your better colors.

I have this with Blu ray and the picture is awsome. I also stream Netflix and it is a great picture for streaming. Have surround sound system but TV speakers OK for news shows. Out of the box and set up very quickly. Used DVD to calibtrate, in the THX mode it was spot on right out of the box. After I got mine a friend got the same model also at One Call.

I purchased this TV a few weeks ago and couldn't be happier with it! There are two things I'd like to comment on- 1. Google custom calibrations at avsforum (slightly brighter than THX and imo more functional for 90% of viewing) 2. I would suggest that you have a home theater system if you purchase this unit, the speakers are very bad, but I would assume most everyone will be running some sort of secondary sound.

Easy, hook-up, absolutely great picture quality. I was in Sam's and saw this set side by side with a new LED Samsung, and the Panasonic had better picture quality.

Panasonic 50" plasma TC-P50G15 Pros So far TV has excellent picture quality and fair sounding audio. Three HDMI slots-right at the minimum number of ports a TV this size should have S-Video-a great video port to have for backwards compatibility Networking features seem to be easy to setup though I have not had the chance to hook-up an internet connection to it yet. Automatic channel scan is strong for all digital over the air channels. Cons The SD card option only displays a limited number of file formats which are generally associated with non-computer SD card devices. Either more file formats or provide a USB instead of SD card slot. No HD schedule for HD channels. Though TV does show the current title of program for some HD shows, it will not show a schedule for later programs.

This unit was exactly as advertised. Great picture and set-up was a snap. Internet hook-up could be a little clearer, but doesn't take away from exeprience at all. VieraCast is great feature. Can't wait for it to expand!

tv is awesome. all the worries I had dissipated once I've set it up (which was extremely easy to do, by the way).
everything works right out of the box, almost no tinkering required (the only thing i did is turn down the brightness during the break-in period).
very very happy.
NOTE: do NOT judge the tv by how it looks at the store. I went by the reviews and took a chance, and extremely happy with it.
Main plus is the complete lack of ghosting. when things move fast you still see everything.

I have been waiting to find the right plasma at the right price to replace my old school rear projection set. This one was worth the wait. I think Panasonic makes the best plasma TVs, the picture stops people in their tracks when they enter the room. It has all the features you could want for all applications (TV, movies, gaming, PC interface, etc...). It was a recommendation from a friend and I recommend it to all looking for a great set at a great price.
