    This was an easy hookup, the picture and sound quality are wonderful. We are all truly happy with this Panasonic Blu-Ray. I wasn't sure if I would be able tell the difference in the picture quality and if it would be worth the money. Now I can easily say, I can and it is!

    I like the automatic firmware update so I don't have to think about it. Also I was surprised at the speed at which the disc was ready to play from power up. Zero complaints so far.

    I choose this product b/c of all the great reviews I got off cnet. They weren't lying. It's great. It's better than using a PS3 b/c it has some audio options that the PS3 doesn't and it's truely lossless. The PS3 uses PCM to bit stream conversion... not good. That won't matter unless you have a high quality surround sound system. Also, you can get the bd35 and it does nearly everything the 55 does and it's $100 cheaper. I'm a stickler for high quality electronics so I get the best of everything (electronics... not EVERYTHING everything) and this is the blu ray player I picked after much research.
