Instruction manual will be O.K. for an Electronics\
Engineer....terrible flow to get unit into use with
too many caveats and switches, Unit works well but too much is beyond my ability to fathom. Need hands on help or manual writtten is easier format.

about this dvd player is that it will not play the dvd's I bought it for.

I bought this to entertain my son in the car. We left for a weekend in the car. I had bought a cool DVD case for the player where I can strap the player between 2 seats. I used the remote control from the front seat to adjust volume and stop/play videos for him. It worked perfectly. We also watched videos on a plane trip for 3 hours. The DVD player was an excellent buy and along with the case I bought at [...] has made this a necessity when traveling.

I bought this product because of the reviews and Sony's reputation, and also because I was looking for a long lasting battery to last for my 3 young boys on a 5hr plane trip. It holds up very well when my boys are handling it and the quality, picture and sound were perfect. This was well worth the money I spent on it and I would HIGHLY recommend this to everyone.
